“The Family of Jorge Gomez continues to fight for justice after he was shot and killed by Las Vegas Metro Police Dept. during a Black Lives Matter protest in June.
The family has filed a federal lawsuit against the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, and they are asking the department to release surveillance or body camera footage of the shooting that killed the 25-year-old”
Jeanne, who has been legally fighting to have the video footage from the (multiple) cameras released, was in attendance for the press conference to ask the public for their help with any and all information from that night.
As of right now Jeanne and the public have only had access to ONE angle / camera view where it shows Jorge walking out of the camera frame and was then shot 19 times by police officers.
