A Day of Service, Love and Peace
We will be out in the community celebrating Black History and Black Culture.
Join us for a day of serving, empowering and building up our own.
We will be passing out free groceries, clothes, shoes and other helpful resources.
There will also be special guest speakers, artist, games and so much more.”

Black History in the Hood opened with Minister Stretch Sanders thanking everyone who was able to make the event. Sweet Lou Collins also spoke and introduced the Legendary Las Vegas Hi-Steppers. The amazing performance by the Hi-Steppers was followed by another amazing group of performers - Jus Clownin’ (dance academy).
Guest speakers included Ms. Hall from Matt Kelley Elementary School, Naybahood VI, Mz. Phit, King, Thee Goddess, Pamela Goynes-Brown, William McCurdy II, Gene Collins, Imam Fateen and many more.
DJ Kelly J played music throughout the event and during the dance off for the kids. The winners were given a cash prize for their talents.
Car club : Challenge Her was in attendance showing off their colorful vehicles and giving out treats to the kids.
