came together to put on an event for the community at Villa Capri Apartments.
Donations included groceries, clothes & toys.

The event started on the grounds of Matt Kelley Elementary school where members of New Era Las Vegas & volunteers met to get all donations ready, go over the game plan for the event and introduce community members.
Once entering Villa Capri Apartments (a low income housing neighborhood on the west side of Las Vegas) the groups of volunteers set up various tables with food, clothing, toys and donations from the community for this event.
Event also included a live performance from IC Jones and music from DJ Mix Master to get the crowd dancing. Kids play area was filled with games and children of all ages. Volunteers from Matt Kelley Elementary helped set up the games & keep the kids busy.
Local media made it out to the event and interviewed members of the community including William McCurdy II & Naybahood VI.
All donations were handed out and/or delivered door to door by closing time (5pm).
This was New Era’s first annual event. They’ve expressed interest in holding multiple events at Villa Capri Apartments alongside Matt Kelley Elementary school later this year. Stay tuned for more info and visit New Era’s Instagram page for more details.
